"I am a constant people watcher" she said , as a self taught artist she was influenced greatly by her late father who taught her to paint horses at the tender young age of 4.

Partarrieu draws on everyday life, visualising while going about his daily business, and some would proberably say while sleeping judging by some of the dream-like fantasy figures he offers to us. They shine with eroticism, and the vibrant optimism of his burning colour palette.

The artist has a love affair with the female form, which he joyfully handles with refinement and elegance. Although he undoubtedly portrays the female as an object of desire, he treats his subjects as equal parts sexuality and spirituality-often risque, but always with respect.

His art is alive with intelligence, irony and kindness, and breathes an air of sensuality and cheerfullness. The fluidity of his stroke allows him to push his analysis of the figure even further, and he seems to take great delight and fulfillment from his ability.

It is a rare occasion to be able to admire an artist who displays such a great joy of life, accompanied by such humour, and who expresses himself with such masterly use of paint".....

Rolf Harris Autumn 2008 Releases

The latest limited editions from the ever popular Rolf Harris were released in September 2008.

Rolf remains one of the UK's most collectable contemporary artists with most of his editions selling out from the publisher within weeks of release.

The new releases consist of three new images, all available in paper, canvas and delux canvas formats. Both the paper and canvas editions are from editions of 295 each whereas the larger deluxe canvas edition is from 95 only.

Todd White will be back in the UK on 23rd September for another appearance and exhibition at Hepplestone Fine Art in Lancashire, UK.


The hit Hollywood artist and lead character creator of Sponge Bob Square Pants will be available at the gallery to meet collectors and showcase a wide collection of limited edition prints (including six exclusive new releases), along with the largest collection of Todd White original paintings in the UK.

Chekirov was born in 1971 in the former Soviet republic of Kyrgystan. He attended the State College of Art where he acquired detailed knowledge of anatomy, graphics and composition. He completed his education with majors in theatrical painting and constructive art. From here he worked in the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, taking over the artistic staging of the scenery until 1992. He then travelled thoughout Europe studying masterpieces that had been kept from him in the Soviet Union. Chekirov work is now held in private collections throughout Europe and has been published a prints worldwide.

Caroline Shotton Charity Releases

We are delighted to announce the release of two new Caroline Shotton timed limited edition box canvasses in aid of the charity for special care babies, Bliss.

Bliss is a charity close to Caroline Shotton's heart as last year she herself gave birth to a premature baby, Elliot. She gained a huge amount of information and support from them and has created two endearing images which poignantly depict the fragility of premature babies and how much care they need.
