Artist Fletcher Sibthorp was approached by Ballet Dancer Darcey Bussell to produce a painting to hang in her studio , named in her honour, at the Royal Ballet School.

Fletcher quoted " After visiting the studio I was struck by the grand nature and light of the space and was inspired to produce a piece that reflected this. It was important to me to portray Darcey in a studio that was named after her " The Painting is called Darcey Bussell in Three Movements (Darcey Bussell in Three Positions) , Limited edition prints of 295 are available . Yet almost half have been sold already !
In 1990 Darcey was voted 'Dancer of the Year' by readers of 'Dance and Dancers Magazine'. She received the Variety Club award in 1991 for most promising Dancer and a week later won the Evening Standard Ballet Award. Many more awards were to follow.

She has appeared on many TV programmes & commercials and been captured by the worlds leading photographers, including Lord Litchfield , Lord Snowdon and John Swanell to name but a few.
Darcey toured with Katherine Jenkins in 2007 in a sell-out series of shows. She is due to be involved with this years TV show 'Come Dancing' so we are sure to be seeing more of Darcey Bussell in the near future.

Fletcher's connection with Dance goes back many years. He has known Darcey since her early days at the Royal Ballet and she sat for him as a model when she was only 23 yrs old.
Since graduating with an honours degree from Kingston University in 1989 , Fletcher's career has flourished with commisions for corporate and private collections as well as those of a commercial nature: books and magazines , corporate literature and interiors.

Since 1992 Fletcher's work has been widely exhibited not only in the UK, but also overseas in Japan , Hong Kong and the USA by the end of this year.

His limited editions are in low numbers and often sell out within weeks, many being highly sought after on the secondary market.

TIMMY MALLETT EXHIBITION July 09

Oh what a night !

Yes Timmy Mallett delighted us with his presence and what a great time we all had, people came from afar and thoroughly enjoyed their personal time with Timmy. He spent time chatting in depth about the paintings, with each piece having its own story of how it came to be.

He is a serious artist but with his added colourful nature he made it a great evening, his collection of Original Paintings and Limited Edition prints filled the Gallery with vibrant colour.

A hot summers evening brought lots of people & with lots of laughter & champagne flowing it turned out a successful evening with plenty of paintings sold on the night being personally signed by Timmy .

Timmy made the most of his time in the North West when he joined one of our Mallett collectors on a 9 mile walk across Morecambe Bay, our client is still telling the tale & he wont forget it in a hurry ! Hence the attached photos !!!

Fabian Perez Appearance & Exhibition

International art sensation Fabian Perez will be flying in from the United States to appear at Hepplestone Fine Art in Lancashire and showcase a collection of limited edition prints and original paintings.
Perez was born in 1967 and grew up outside Buenos Aires in a turbulent world of political upheaval during the post-Peron military regime. Such a childhood could not fail to impact on every area of his life including his artistic ethos, especially when taken in conjunction with his unconventional upbringing.


His atmospheric figurative paintings have captured the imagination of collectors and art lovers across the globe making him one of the hottest properties on the international art scene.

In addition to a number of rare original paintings, the exhibition will also include rare and sought after limited edition prints no longer generally available.
